Hi, I'm new to this forum and I was wondering if anyone recommends a starfish in my biocube 29. If so, what are the benefits and what kind should I get?

we had a serpent star in our 24 aqua & it did just fine until we had an emergency & had to leave town for a few days
unknown to me the misses feed the fish & so did I so they were dbl feed plus reg feeding
needless to say when we returned found out the tank had spiked so we lost a lot of things in it including the serprnt but thank heaven we didnt lose everything
we still have a couple astaria stars that survived
ive also seen a few stars in tanks as small as 10 glln as long as they arenot to large you should have no problem

i keep a brisstle star in my fuge and hes been doing fine, had him in the display but kept knocking everything not glued over. if they dont get fed they can die cause they tank doestn produce enough food itself. HTH

I have a red star in my tank and he is one of the few that wont eat your corals. He isnt really red its more like bright orange but he does fine in there
