Does anyone use this stand for their nano?

Right now my 12g nano is on the kitchen counter. I think it would look really nice in our dining room or living room so i'm looking for something to put it on. Is this stand really sturdy? (keep in mind I have a 9 yr old and a 5 yr old running around constantly) I think this looks nice... but just looks like it has a high probability of being knocked over...

I used it for a period it is sturdy however only if it is NOT on a carpeted surface ....I have 2 cats and rotten neighbors and it stood tall for me you could alway strap it to the wall for added saftey which is a smart thing to do with any bulky furniture that could topple and injure a child....I have one here for sale PM me if intrested it was used for 1-2 months before getting a hutch to put ours on  there is no visible damage on it that I can see Strapping it to the wall would not cost much and very easy to do with a few screws worth the xtra time in my opinion HTH

I have seen tanks on these stands and like Sadie mentioned I don't think the base is large enough for the to be very stable on thick carpeting. The stand itself seems to be built well enough though.

well im getting one my self in this week and i can decide between that one or the cabinet one but i guess the cabinet one will be the better choice to store all the equipment aditives and cleaning supplies for the tank and well i do have a thick carpet so my idea is maybe you should try it .... i got a really big piece of wood square looking like 30 x 30 (thickness is like 1/2 inche) so is big enough so it will create a stability to the stand so im doing that and of course paint it black there you go an  so you can place it in the carpet and if posible do what SADYELIN suggested and i even look in to that my self cause i have to puppies running in the house   .
