some new shots under my new lighting

Here are some shots I took with my new lighting. Enjoy.

My buddies shots:

Here's my red headed goby shots:

My Yuma thriving getting ever so much brighter. Even a dark yellow in the mouth. I can't wait to see that thing grow in time.

My tank from a bit back. Everything is doing fine, only thing I need to eventually ditch is the galaxia, it simply is not pulling through since the "incident" some time ago. Oh well, I'll be able to make that spot available for Rbaby's zoos or her pink open brain, hehe.

yeah they are in there, but the real only bio load it that from my two clowns. (which isn't much, and contained with my weekly water changes) The others are real small, like guppies, and don't really contribute to a higher bio load. I monitor the the levels with test kits and everything is fine. Should in the future, when my clowns gets bigger, they'll move to a bigger tank. As for now, everybody is happy, no fighting going on, and no nitrate problems.

Nice pics...what was that red algae on the right hand side of the tank called again? It looks really cool.

I think you mean to the far left??? That is what Mike has, when he flew down he brought me some. It's just red bubble algae or something like that. Supposed to help keep the nitrate levels down. Figured it would help with the fish i have in there. So far so good.

Just in case you did mean to the right of my tank......that is my organ pipe.

thanks guys/gals

Thanks for the kind comments. I'll be sure to continue on this post with some more pics I haven't posted yet, like a side shot, and other angles. Been busy for me lately, I hardly get a chance to post up a thread for myself :) C-yas

Yep..I really like these guys. They're almost seasonal here. They aren't available for long stretches then suddenly you find the yellow stripe ones everywhere and then a bit later you get the blue stripe ones everywhere, then they're gone again for months.

I've got all sorts of competition...A lot of people take as good or better pics than I do. I just seem to post more often.

I love my blue neon goby. One of the coolest fish in my cube. Lately he's taken to cleaning my arm when I stick it in the tank.

Thats cool. He really does look like an engineere goby. Its weird. Too bad I can't get any descent shots of mine. They are always under the rocks in their burrows. Might do a good tank cleaning then a big feeding to see if I can lure them out.

Thanks a lot guys, I try to get those "incysor" type shots, but it's very challenging, and you have to take a good amount of pics and dump a whole lot to see which ones make the cut. Also all of the settings on my Nikon is insane, but each time I learn a tad more about it. I noticed in the tank pic, the red algae vine is all stringy, no bubbles or anything, then I look at it now, and it's covered like crazy all over the stems. I'll take another shot, and you'll see what I mean. I'll try and catch some goby shots too, since you guys liked them so much. Thanks peeps.
