Thanks. I was looking at one of those Fission skimmers. They are pretty cheap.
But you get what you pay for right? Are skimmers entirely neccessary? ive heard mixed opinions.

The fissions are a waste of time and money. Really an aweful invention. Skimmer are not necessary although they can be very beneficial. Regular weekly water changes along with a good carbon like Black Diamond would be a must if you werent using a skimmer.
