here's a recent shot of my tank, and a couple shots of my newest piece...a small head of a florida ricordia

I'll post more pics later. I took these real quick with no tripod, so it's not the best, but gives you an idea of how it's coming along now :) I'm starting to fill that empty right side. Just need some cool lookin zoos to decorate and complete this :)

nice tank it puts mine to shame ! I was just wondering if you would share how much that cost ? We dont have a store here with diverse selection so we takes what we can get! which is not much our one store just got rid of all their salt tanks so we got some stuff dirt cheap but the of the other 2 , 1 has poor poor poor quality and the other very small selection at a very heavy price ! when we travel I do look around to see what is out there but we often dont travel that far . but I must say that you and your brother and sugar magnolia have some awsome tanks as do some others here mine is still young and may develop as it ages .

Thank you Sadie, I learned mostly from going at it with my girlfriends tank, the jbj 12, since November of last year.

Since then I now have my 6 gallon of my very own that I maintain, clean, and stock with cool pieces and colors. I have had the setup going for about 4 months I think. Of course the pieces that went in were cycled rock from an established tank, as well as live sand. Used half of the water from the jbj 12, and the other half with fresh Catalina water. I haven't had any diatoms or algae blooms. It stays quite clean for the most part, and the stuff that does grow, my snails attack it! :) I'm looking now to add assorted colored zoos like my brother's pico tank. Very cool way of covering up the rest of the bare spots :)

The places I shop from are Pacific Reef in Anaheim, Ca, and also for my exotic stuff and wide selection I go to Tong's in Fountain Valley, CA.

Nice tank Dragon. I just moved out to Newport and was in Tong's for the first time today... Some of their prices seem a bit high, but they've got a decent selection.

Whats Pacific Reef like? Worth a 20 min drive?
