Setting up electronic ATO system???

I would like to use a power head in a bucket but need hosing that will fit on the end of the powerhead output.

Also - I would like to down size from what ever size line this will be to something smaller so I can get it 4ft (from the ground to the tank on the table).

Anyone have any experiance with tubing sizes?

My plan was to melt a piece of plastic tubing into a U shape and have it hanging over the top of my AQ70 fuge filter.

1/4 inch tubing fits nicely on the maxi jet pumps. Just secure it with a plastic zip tie or something similiar. Really the next common size you will see is just labeled airline tubing. 1/4 inch tubing should work very nicely unless you really need the smaller diameter. The melting should be interesting. I have seen people take Y pieces of barb fittings (can be found at any home store) and melt one end and use it to hook onto the tank. Just make sure the tube doesn't go INTO the water otherwise you will create a siphon and drain your tank really quick! :shock:
