Setting up a 10 gal... lighting question

i prefer the second because of the independent switching so you can do the dusk/dawn thing with the actinics

these are new and look interesting for nanos - cause they have a 15" T-5 bulb - these have not been available before as far as i know????? you could get two of these for the same price range as your looking at but i have no idea of the quality, just seems like an about time someone made a 15" bulb for nanos thing that someone should try out and let the rest of us know ;)
they may not turn out to be the best but for a 10g they may be just the thing, everyone has been waiting for in cheap, quality lighting for small tanks you know?

How would they be mounted???
No legs. So, I'd have to have a glass canopy or something to support it.
I'm looking at topping the tank with just eggcrate and a light on legs.
I'd go eggcrate less, but my cat fishes.

That's a great pic. I have a neighbors cat that comes and hangs out with us now and then... I hate cats but she's pretty friendly. Anyway she doesn't even look at my tank. :)

Yeah, mine's killed 3 male bettas(FW) and a dojo loach(FW). Killer kitty.
She does limit me somewhat on lighting.... but I love her.
