self made 6 gallon nano

I basically got tired of the same old same old tanks on the market, so I decided to build my own. It is a 5 gallon bare bottom tank with a false back that holds 1 gallon when running. There is a mangrove section with miracle mud on the bottom, bubble trap, and a 606 mini-jet in the return section. It has a float switch that is connected to my auto water top off system. Im using live rubble rock in the bio chamber. I routed the overflow so that it can skim the surface for maximum light penetration. The light is a 70w HQI with a 10k bulb I got from www.aquauniverse.com. Excuse the picture quality, took them with my cellphone. Thats my next purchase. Thinking about selling these tanks on ebay. let me know what you guys think! PEACE

Cool! Nice DIY job! I fixed your image links so they will open up automatically and folks won't have to click on each link to see the picture. This is easy to do yourself, just use the img tags before and after the URL. Example:

To avoid confusion, these are not PiratesReef pictures.

Wow,

Gary I'm impressed, I don't have the tools nor the garage to do one so seeing you build is cool...

Once again nice work...

Mike, those are not my pictures. That tank was built by henrystyle (the author of the thread) and I was just rying to make it a little easier for everyone to see his handiwork. He posted the images without image tags, so they did not display automatically. I just put the image tags in my post so everyone could see the pics without clicking on each individual link. Henrystyle, if you don't want the pics displayed in that way, let me know and I will delete them from my post. Sorry if I caused any confusion....

Why are you getting rid of this tank already? Have you decided to build another with a different design or something?

I see, I was afraid that we weren't going to see this tank develope. Is this just a hobby building tanks or do you work in acrylics?
