seahorse help

Hi, thinking of having seahorses in my nano tank anybody got any good advice for keeping them and also what fish do they get on well with? cheers.

seahorses are pretty difficult to keep, not a beginner inhabitant. they have alot of special needs. as for fish capibility, not sure. there is a guide in the reef fish section that will help.

Hi Sam Crossland,

What size of tank do you have? most seahorses need at least a 30G.

I had 2 H. Reidi's in a 15G with no ohter fish. I think the 15G was way too small I spent a lot of time cleaning the tank so the access food did not cause issues.

I sold them becuse they were too hard to take care of. They needed to be feed 2 or 3 times a day and it made it hard to get away for the weekend.
