Please return them they will not do well for you you need a tank that has been up at least a year, they require live food and will deplete them very quickly in a small system ...they will be impossible to train to eat frozen foods and brine unless is gut loaded and still has the yolk sack (first few hours of hatching) are of absolutely no nutritional value . if you want you can get captive raised ones where they should do just fine on prepared foods of mysis....and are trained to eat it Please do RETURN them to thier home

I have to agree with Sadie, though possible to "train" them to eat frozen food eventually they are not really adaptable to being contained in an aquarium like captive bred seahorses are. The CB ponies are much hardier, already adapted to aquarium life, eat frozen food, and are just a better choice because they are not removed from the wild. If you seriously want to keep seahorses get captive bred seahorses after you have read more about their care requirements and have set a tank up that meets their needs.

You did the right thing there by returning them to their home ....Tho in another post you say they are eating ? Did you or did you not return them ......not worth risking introduction of a disease into a stable established system ....I do hope they were returned .

they were eating but i just decided to release them beacause the 10 gal quarantine tank where they were was jut like 2 months old and you said they need at least a 1 year old tank and it is really bad idea to put them directly in my 55 gal reef tank that has allmost 4 years.
