It was a good week this week. First off I got word my 2.5 mini bow will be shipped monday. Secondly i got some great corals for a great price.
I got a aleveapora (spelling sucks.) , hammer frag, orange fire fish, purple fire fish, rock with pink and green zoas. Oh and the sun coral. I have a red sea betta tank thingy that i will setup tomorrow. i have to get a new filter for it since my last one burnt up. From my understanding they dont care about light so it will have only a 6500K screw in pc bulb. just for the other stuff i will stick with it.

I am getting rid of my firefish. Everytime I walk by the tank, he dives for cover. Now the other fish are scared of me. They all freak. MONSTER! Tried to catch him twice. He ain't no dummy.

It takes time for any of the shyer fish to overcome instinct and learn that you=food.

My six line wrasse hid for nearly 6 months, my anthias hid from 6 wks to 3 months, my firefish hid for for about 2 months.

well my purple on was sick then the vendor said it was better (FNCs) after being quartined for a week or so. the orange one hides until you face is within a few inches from the glass then it darts at you before disappearing again.

Mine started out cool for weeks. Once he got to know the tank well, he started darting like crazy driving me crazy. He is going back if I have to buy a fish hook and go fishing for him. Just a little pun, don't want animal activist or green peace looking me up. :pom
