I want to build a 10g used to have a 55g. My question is with a HOb filter what type of media should i use? I am going to have Corals and 1 fish and a cleaner crew. I dont know which corals yet but I am curious about the media type. Also I am going to have bout 350GPH total in 2 powerheads (too much)?? On the skimmer I am electing to get one any suggs for a 10 gallon AGA (i think is what u call it) its a regualr regtangualr glass one.

thanks

Chemi-pure carbon is a good media choice. You can also run some floss (just clean it often). Another common media run is phos-ban or some other phosphate remover. The flow shouldn't be a problem so long as you don't have the powerheads pointed directly at the corals/fish, have them bounce of the glass or behind the rockwork. A lot of people don't use skimmers on nanos because large weekly water changes replace the skimmer. I've heard good things about the Remora Aqua-c hang on back skimmer. Might be a bit much for the 10g but oh well.
