Quarantine tank

i was thinking... what do i need to set up a Quarantine tank??


besides the obvious of a tank, heater, filter/water movement, would i need live rock? Live sand? Not really to sure.. lets see some pics of your Quarantine tanks as well .. thanks

no rock or sand neeeded. just have some pvc pipes for ur fish to hide in.

would it be benificial if i added LR and Live sand?

ur using the qt tank to treat sick fish until its ready to go in the main tank right? if so, the meds that you will be treating fish with will kill the "live" things from the LR and LS thus making them become only rock and sand.

AH ha .. thank you.. would a ac filter with a fuge be ok?

i dont think a fuge is necessary in a qt tank but ya forsure run a ac filter for the qt.
