Quarantine for Zoa frags...

Hey,
I have traded for some zoa frags from some locals and don't know anything about how well they keep thier tanks. I would like to quarantine the zoas and also do a iodine dip. Anyone here have any experience with this. Unsure of what to do.

THanks..

I dont usually quarantine my zoas... although it is a great thing to do. I do, however, dip ANYTHING that goes into my tank, especially zoas. I follow Muchoreef's dip from reefcentral.com and it works great: http://www.reefcentral.com/forums/showt ... did=451720

Jesse, in your professional opinion..... is it necessary to use 3 gallons for a little tiny frag? Also is Muchos dip just for Nudi's? I have a couple of tiny little Zoos that haven't grown or much but they're always open and look happy. A few of them have what looks like a brown Algae on them when they're closed. Is this a disease or an Algae?
