PVC or ABC piping

I'm thinking of doing a manifold for water movement in my tank, my one question is will the glue for either type of plastic posion the water? Obviously it'll be dry before I put it in and the tank is currently empty. I'm just toying with the idea of how to manage my water flow. I'll have a 300gph pump pushing a SCWD that'll be split off each end for a total of 4 heads. I think that'll do it but I'm working on placement etc... It never gets really hot where I live so I should be ok. Any thoughts?

You're not thinking about gluing the SCWD are you? It needs to be removeable. That said PVC cement is fine for saltwater applications. Let it sit a little while to let the fumes clear totally from the pipe, but other than that it's fine. Most people use it in their larger tanks. I haven't used ABC piping, so I can't really give you an answer about that.

No, the SCWD will remain removeable as they do conk out on occasion. I already own two due to a miscommunication at purchase time but no worries.

I'll use PVC then, thanks for the info!
