Putting a 12G DX canopy onto a OG tank?

Does anyone have experience with replacing a Nano Cube 12G OG (late 2004, so assuming it is an OG) top/canopy with a DX canopy? How different are the hinges and what must be done?

I do know that the hinges are different. You can try contacting Chris at www.nanocustoms.com and he can tell you if it can be done and if you need any other parts to change it out. He can probably supply the parts needed if applicable.
