i think it's really just a calcium suppliment. which coralline needs calcium but if your levels are fine, i wouldn't think you'll need it.
I have seen that it is not worth it because it is masking a low calcium level in your tank that should be fixed from the source , how ever I would think that you could use it as a suppliment like hooterhead states , we are just now starting to see some coraline growth in our tanks we introduced a few pieces with it and now it seems to be spreading just my .02

yea it is just a Ca sup with a few extra ions added. I've tried it and it does seem to boost Ca and coraline growth. Be very cautious with any sups though and be sure you test for what your suplimenting - for example I think that stuff has Iodine in it and if your adding Iodine from another source you could OD. Another annicdotal observation on coraline growth is it really likes actinic light. If you can have your actinics on about 12 - 14 hours and your whites 8 - 10, thats what I run and my coraline grows like crazy

I use it and my coraline has been growing faster than before. I use to dose calcium but never saw this kind of growth rate. Its not only ca i think it has somthing else in it.
