PRUNING OF COLT CORAL?

I have a Colt Coral that was about the size of a tennis ball when purchased about three months ago. Now it is the sized of a small head of lettuce and is taking up a large portion in the front of my tank. Can you prune this type of coral without harming the main coral? Will the pieces survive after being removed?

yes and yes. close it up completely by rubbing your hand on it. if you can it is best to cut in a seperate tank - good excuse to do a water change.
i use a sissors on this type of coral but a razor blade works too
attach frags to a small piece of rubble by using a plastic tooth pic through the corals stalk and two rubber bands around the rock/pick - trade extras with freinds :)
