Protein Skimmer and Lighting Question

I am thinking about purchasing a 12g JBJ nanocube DX or the Aquapod 12g. I was wondering if it was possible to fit a fission nano protein skimmer in the back of these tanks? I was also wondering if the lighting on either of these tanks would be good enough for corals?

The lighting will be fine for shrooms, zoas, softies, LPS....The fission skimmer doesnt have a good track record so Id steer clear of it if I were you

It will fit only in NC but recommend it no way... just keep up with your weekly water changes and you'll be fine... and well you can keep all mentioned but some of the corals might lose some color but will stay pretty much the same... :)

I'll definitely make sure I stay away from the fission skimmer. I guess I will see how everything goes without having a protein skimmer.

Thank you everyone for your help. I miss having a reef tank. I've been without a reef tank for 2 years now ever since I moved out of my brothers apartment. I can't wait to get my nano tank up and running. Here's a pic of my brothers reef tank.
