Powerhead

Hi.. I put a power head in my 12g nano to give it some movement. Anyone any idea's as to why it would blow out small bubbles every couple of minutes? It is about 3 inches under water so it can't be sucking air from the surface. I'm stumped as to why it would do it..

let it run for a day or so, probably just has some air pockets in the powerhead.
they will most likely stop soon.

Every once in a while a small bubble or two could be coming down into the chamber, couldnt it?
