Poison Ivy

Hey *itch* folks,
I'm an avid mtn biker and on Monday morning I was up in San Juan Capistrano on a new trail. Short story is, I took *scratch itch* a sharp dogleg left turn too fast *scratch scratch* and my line was too wide, to avoid smacking headfirst into a tree I had to bail. I landed in a wonderfully comfy bed of poison ivy where *itchy itch* I then danced with the devil.

I'm currently breaking *itchy scratchy* out in a very bad rash, if anyone has home remedy cures other than benadryl/whiskey/oatmeal *itch* baths please let me know.

I was going to say you can trying urinating on it like you do with jellyfish stings but I'll just leave all those details for Flame to expand on :lol:

Pee on my back? Hmm....I"d actually consider that.
I went to the doc last night and got some skin steroids to help out, like I said, it's freakin' nasty.

Oh hardy har har.....even though urine does work rather well.

Calamine lotion? It's what I've always used, personally....of course, I haven't been susceptible to poison ivy since I was a little kid. I guess if you get attacked by it enough times, you build up an immunity, cause I could probably blow my nose with ivy leaves and not have a problem now.
