its not a cowrie, idk what it is my grandparents collected it from florida, some regular snail, be nice if he fit into a cowrie

I'm gonna have to look at my camera when I get home from work and see if it was a reflection on the camera, if not, then I'm going to try to figure out what shirt I had on. If you look even closer it actually says "Bright".

Yeah, it's an electric blue leg hermit, I had it for over 2yrs. It just recently croaked. I agree the normal mini blue leg hermits do a much better job of keeping things clean.
