We're going to do something a little different for this contest...
The November Contest will be to see who can submit the best reefing tip or trick. This is something that you have learned in the reefing hobby that you think is the single best tip or trick to pass onto a fellow reefer. Here is my sample entry if I were to enter the contest: My trick is to glue glass cleaning magnets to the back of your powerheads. This allows you to move the powerhead around your tank and is more stable than suction cups.

Pretty simple, huh? I think this will be fun and really allows everyone a chance to participate. There should be a great turnout for this contest as there really are no restrictions. You don't need a camera and you don't need a great looking tank. All you need is experience and a brain! Please limit your entry to three short sentences. If its longer than three sentences, I will not accept it. If there are two duplicate entries (or similar enough) I will alert that latest participant and allow them to change it. This contest will be limited to the first thirty members. The winner with the most votes will receive the great Seachem package pictured below.

The Seachem package includes 8.5 oz. bottles of Reef Complete, Reef Plus, Reef Carbonate and Reef Strontium. Also included are containers of Purigen & Reef Advantage Calcium and a Purigen bag plus a welded filter bag.

Special Note:
Due to numerous cheating efforts in past contests, you must have at least 30 posts to enter this contest. The idea is that veteran Nanotankers know that this site will not tolerate cheating. We are a fun and friendly group and we just don't have time for that stuff. Moderators will be watching and following the voting closely. Please do not ask anyone to vote for you. Please do not create new accounts and vote for yourself. Any cheating suspicions will result in an immediate ban/removal from the site.

How it works:
The deadline for submitting your entry is midnight CST November 24, 2006. All forum members will vote to determine the best entry until midnight CST November 30, 2006. The member with the most votes is the winner. In the event of a tie, the member with the highest post count (the more active member) at the end of the voting period will be the winner.

The rules:
You must be an active member of Nanotank.com and have 30 posts at a minimum before the submission date to enter. You must keep your entry to three short sentences or less. If its any longer, I will discard the entry. The winner from the previous Nanotank contest cannot participate. Site sponsors and moderators also cannot enter the contest. Nanotank.com will only ship prizes to the continental United States. If the winner resides elsewhere, they are responsible for their own shipping. Nanotank.com reserves the right to change/modify/cancel any part of this contest at any time for any reason. Nanotank.com also reserves the right to display your photo/entry or use it in any means it so desires from that point forward.

How to enter:
