Not enough flow?

Our fuge has been setup for a few weeks now! I'm starting to get an algea problem, so am I correct to assume that the flow is not what it should be? Just out of curiousity, I knocked the pump up a notch, and quickly set it back where it was when the water in the overflow box kept increasing. Was worried about a flood.

Hmmm...Well obviously you can't increase the overall flow beyond the capacity of your overflow, but you could put a small powerhead in the main area of the fuge to help with water movement, which will take care of the issue if it's just a lack of current that's causing your algae issues.
If that doesn't correct the problem, you might try looking at your photoperiod. Are you running the fuge light 24/7, or alternating with your main tank lights? Is the fuge getting any sunlight? This can cause algae blooms. Do you have snails/crabs, etc in the fuge to help with algae?

Exactly, I'd try a really small powerhead (the ones I sold you Incysor would be perfect) or just limit your photoperiod to say 8 or even 6 hours and see if that helps.

As it is now, the lights are on 24/7, will switch them down to about 8 hours and see if that helps. Thanks!
