Okay, here is the first batch of pics from the Central America trip this summer that my girlfriend and I went on. We basically went backpacking for a month or so. We started in Nicaragua and ended up in Panama about 30 days later. Awesome trip.
This is volcan Masaya. Its an active volcano near Managa. They used to sacrafice virgins to the volcano in hopes of keeping it happy so it's wouldn't erupt again.
This is a big crater filled with water. Nicaragua is the 'land of lakes and volcanos'.
I had to drive around through this!
But it took me to this.
This is overlooking where our beach house was.
A howler monkey in the tree. These guys like to move around in packs.
Catching some waves.
Yup, we found this guy on our backpack one morning. He got the broom.
Time for a cold one.
And the view just keeps getting better.
