Next fish to add

HI,
You know my hubby Narkon. I have a question about adding some new fish to our 29. Right now we have a clown, and a 6 line wrase. Our lawnmower decided to check out the skimmer so we have to replace him. I was thinking I might like a Carpenters flasher wrase or a filimented flasher wrase. Would one of these get along well with our 6 line? Thanks for your input.

Went a differant way with the tank b/c the 6 line decided to beat up the maroon clown. So we brought both them back and now have a longfin fairy wrase, purple firefish and just today added a carpenter flasher wrasse.

I wouldn't have thought that the 6-line would bother your clownfish. At least you noticed the incompatibility and saved them both. Hope you have better luck with your different setup :lol: .

So far have only seen the carpenter but twice, but they say give it a few days and then judge.

keep in mind that the larger species of wrasse are jumpers. I had a Scott's velvet wrasse that jumped three times. I was able to save him the frst two...

if you don't have a tight fitting lid, place some eggcrate over the tank to keep him in.
