Hello all,
I am giving a shot at my first aquarium period. No experience in any of it. I have a fellow co-worker who got me interested in the bright colors and all.

Here goes. I have 12g nanocube deluxe. I bought 11 lbs. of live rock and am giving it a whirl. The rock seemed to have some mushrooms on it as far as I can tell. I haven't found a pic to match exactly but, I am sure you guys can tell me what they are as soon as you see them.

My question is about that white spot on a piece of rock. I put as good of a close up as possible. Let me know what you guys think of that. It may be nothing. Also, Let me know if you foresee any circulation problems with my stacking. I have re-stacked it twice...keeps looking better IMO.

Took me a while to realize the pics were too big. Can anyone see the pics. I can see them in the preview, but when I just visit the post.

:welcome to nanotank!

The white spot looks like a sponge to me. Be careful it doesn't get into the air, it will get trapped in it anf kill it. As far as rearranging the rocks, we all do it until we are satisfied with the look. Just try to keep them away from the sides so you can clean the glass and make sure they are fairly stable the way they are piled. Feel free to post and ask any questions you have.

Wait until she catches you after lights out with a flashlight looking at the neat nocturnal stuff. There is so much to see in an aquarium.
