Hi Guys,

Here is a few pictures of my new (CB) Seahorses (I was able to get a mated pair). I have them in a 15G tall hex tank.

looking good they will like the tall and you wont need ridiculous amounts of lighting if you keep just the horses and no corals

Very cool! I think someday I will have to take a shot at a seahorse tank...my LFS gets outstanding colors and sometimes I wish could take one or two home.

Nice shots.

Do they normally stay close like that? At first I thought that it was the same horse, just a reflection

You may take a look around and see if you can find a heater guard so these guys don't try to hitch on the heater at the wrong time. I know Tronic makes one that is not very expensive and works well. You do have a nice pair of seahorses there.

If you cant find that a pice of pvc pipe with holes drilled in it will work well . We got a titanium heater that fits in our filter
It does in fact look as if they are doing a mating dance so with a bit of luck you will have babies in no time at all just remember they need to be protcted from filter intakes and power heads as well . Keep us posted on thier progress
