New Nano Tank

Well after being in the reef hobby all these years I finally have a tank at my office. My wife bought me the JBJ 24 Gallon system for Christmas.

I was impressed with the pictures on the nano customs site and ordered the light package. It is with this I have a few questions.

Chris told me that the package for the 25 Gallon isn't quite finalized yet and that they are looking into possible HQI over PC for the system.

This is great news for me but I wanted to know if anyone was having heat issues. I did also buy that little chiller unit they sell. Looks interesting but awfully tiny. Any info on what I can expect from that or even how it works would be greatly appreciated.

So those of you that have HQI on your tank, what does the light raise the temp up to ?

And then those of you with PC on the tank how does that do ?

My office has huge windows in it and the temperature in the summer is usually 80 degrees.

Lastly I have read some material here that stated that some people have been unhappy with their installations that nano customs has done and I have also read about fan problems.

While I still have the time is their anything I should be telling them to make sure I do not share in any issues.

I can't wait to get the system going, and any advice on equipment is greatly appreciated.

THe 80 degree summer temp may be a bit of a problem, maybe the ICA chiller will be enough to offset any heat issues. Chris can give you a good idea of what the tank temps are like, he puts alot of research into the upgrades he does before he puts them on the market. :welcome to nanotank. HTH, Skip
