Is it right under the AC/Heater? That could create problems mantaining a consistant temperature. Make sure it's not blowing directly on it.

Very cool little set up.

And :welcome to Nanotank.

yup, its not blowing directly on it. the temp is around 26C here in the philippines the weather here is a bit hot so heat is always the issue here. :D anyway here are some updates got the skimmer its a reef octopus dnw110. it's the only good skimmer locally sold here.

thanks for the warm welcome.

the fishes i got them from an exporter. the clams i got from a wet market (yes they eat them here). our family own a little island so free live sand and live rocks there is this reef that the distance is you can throw a stone at it literally. so i just snorkel for small frags but since my tank isn't mature enough so no sps for me yet. and yes i use nsw for my weekly water change

so do you collect your fish and clams from your own private reef too?
just collect the easiest to have/keep and try not to put some frags which i think are very hard to keep. fishes i get from a exporter/LPS just a sixline wrasse and a small yellow watchman gobby. and thats it. clams are sold to me by fishermen passing by the place.

That makes sense. That's awesome though. I would love to live on a reef like that. I'd love to see pictures of the reef if you have any.
