Hi guys, just wanted to show off my little clowns and their, new, improved version of the RBTA.

This new and intensively researched variety has been bred to be completely sessile. It doent move when stressed or in a bad spot; no more wandering anemones!

Its also far more tolerant of high nutrient levels. In fact, to an extent nitrates actually speed growth. This species also readily grows and any basal clones which form stay close to the mother.

Also, the new form comes with interesting features! Tired of having rod shaped tentacles? This genetically modified RFTA has completely 2-dimensional polyps giving inhabitants increased protection. Wavy edges and serrated edges are also available at an added cost.

The new strain also appears to be more tolerant of less light (PCs are more than enough); no need for expensive MHs here! Completely unagressive, this breed wont kill off any other cnidarians by nematocysts and itself resists even the strongest of stings!

This also comes in an attractive green pigment. No discolouration over the years and extreme resistance to bleaching. Accepted by many clownfish, here it hosts a young pair of A akindynos

And now, the new, low maintainence RFTA:

Larger, clearer pictures soon to follow as more reports come in. Stay tuned for more updates.

Hi

Yea, its macro. Im surprised the LFS gave it to me (they chipped it off some LR). The next day i went back for another look at stock they told me the wholesale price for that was $30!!!

Will get more pics up soon.

Btw, how much do a akindynos cost there? I saw them on liveaquaria for less than $30. Thought they were really rare for you guys.
