Nanocube 6 pic update 6-5-05

Hey Guys/Gals:

This is the latest. Just showing my latest tank pics as it's maturing. Inhabitants are doing fine. Only thing is I lost my anemone shrimp during a molt...the redheaded goby attacked him. He'd been doing that, and chasing the other gobies around too, but I noticed, that it has cooled down, and seems like everybody is getting along at last. The newest coral added is the open brain. It's doing quite well. That'll be it for adding things in here for a while. From here on it'll be just maintenance/cleaning. Enjoy peeps.

great pics wow....what kind of camera do you have?im in the market for one and im triing to decide.

thanks, 2nd attempt with building my 6 gallon had better results than my building on my 1st attempt of my girlfriend's tank, which mainly has like one color (green) lol.

The camera I am using is Nikon 8700. some macro, some just using auto mode without the flash. Didn't mess too much with the manual settings.....it gets a bit hard for me, messing with all of that.

Wow.. is it wrong that I want to lick and taste your tank? It looks that good! Sweet setup. Love the red algae you have in there. Colors are superb.

He likes to live on the edge.

btw Steven, the gobies will continue to fight from time to time. They aren't a species that can be kept peaceably together unless they are kept in a very large tank.

sugar you know me all too well, since the begginning. Thanks! I was pondering on getting rid of them, but one, not because of the bioload (I do weekly water changes, 25% and keeps my levels in check), but because they kept ending up in my back chambers. I was reading up on how somebody did something to fill the gap to keep them hoping back there, and well I did something similar. I just got some left over foam and used some crazy glue to keep it in place, making it impossible for them to hop over without smacking themselves and falling right back in the water, lol. So far so good, and no problems.

I love feeding time....I think that's when they get together like a family and eat up everything without a trace without bugging each other. I still see no fights between them, but if I was to take out one, it would most likely be the red headed goby...he's hot headed :burningup at times(in the past at least), lol.

oh also my bro tells me that the red algae vines help break down nitrate too. So that with my held up water changes, things are in balance. :yippee
