My grades came in!

so my grades come on
A - English
A - History
A - Tech Aides
A - Art
A - AP Enviornmental Science
B+ - Pre Calculus

GPA 4.0

So my parents are angry at me for getting a B+...
is this logical?!?!?!

right now im a junior, almost a senior :mrgreen:

i really want to major in marine biology or beocme a veterinarian :D

or something in computers, im good with those :mrgreen:

:shock: excellent grades im not sure why you parents made a big fuzz about a B+....but like i say could it be worst .....anyways good job and keep up with does grades.....congrats

Those grades merit a trip down to your favorite LFS for a nice frag... Good job.... One of my students came down to office hours and argued with me his B+ on his first essay...

I gave him a couple of slices of pizza and calmned him down and he was okay with his grade...

Man the pressures of school for these kids is incredible....

Yeah, parents tend to see if you are capable of A grades then they tend to expect them. Don't take it too hard, if you really feel bad about it, then talk to your parents. Awesome grades by the way!!! I work on CISCO routers most days and I recommend to stick with the marine or vet. Computers just have WAY too many people working on them and pay is dropping real fast. Good luck on what ever you choose!

Is it logical? Well... it depends. Lol, are you Asian? :) if you are, then yes :) Those grades are awesome. Congrats :)

LOL... i was going to point that out now that i know your last name!

When I first read this thread, it didnt seem logical to me...but after finding out that you are asian, and knowing the stress that the asian community places on schooling, it doesnt surprise me now.

Great work though.

lol. i'm sure there are others, but i think this is one asian stereotype that is pretty much very very close to true :)
