Hey everybody,
Thought I'd drop a few photos of my current set-up which is still being modified. Not really muCh to look at but its a work in progress. Tank size is 500mm L x 347mm W x 450mm H which works out at around 20.8G without rock. It also has a sump (550mm L x 300mm W x 450mm H) which holds around 10G which the heater skimmer and return pump hides in the stand. The return pump is rated to 4000LPH and goes through a SCWD before getting forced through 2 1/2" Loc-line flared fittings.
Also is has an external overflow box with twin 1" durso overflow pipes to drop the water back into the sump. A bit overkill I know but I wanted to make sure I have plenty of room for a pump upgrade at a later date.
Currently it has 8-9kgs of liverock and 2kgs of Calcite (a form of aroganite) sand. inhabitants so far are a pair of False Percs, a lone Hermit crab, 6 Snails, 2 Xenia frags, 2 Toadstool Mushroom Leather frags, and a couple mushrooms.
Lighting is supplied by a 150W 10K MH, 1 Marine Blue T8, and a White T8, which will be upgraded to T5HOs very soon.
The skimming is taken care of by a Red Sea Berlin Classic with a needlewheel pump attached to it. Will be upgrading to a Reef Octo or a Deltec soon.
Hopefully I can get my other tank up and running, then this tank will become my sons/frag tank. He doesn't mind as long as the "Nemos" are in it.
Like I said earlier, its a work in progress...
Sorry for the photos. All I have is a phone camera for now.
Twin Dursos, before the plumbing was modified

Will add more photos as I acquire more corals.
