Mushroom Rock

Tonight one of the mushroom corals on my mushroom rock detached its self and was floating around the tank. It finally landed on the bottom behind the wall of live rock. I have 2 questions. 1, is that normal and 2, do I need to get it out from where it is now?

it may have been under too much flow and got pulled off, you don't have to move it, unless you want to see it or it is not getting enough light.

i had a tiny fragment of rock chip of my zooanthid when it was being transported, and tossed it in the tank anyway, it's hysterical, since it's laying in the middle of the sand and tiny little mushroom guys popped out! i dare say they are cute! they are pretty darn versatile and resilient given light, in my experience.
