moonlighting

Whats the best way to run moonlights? Ive been told to have it on an hour before the main lighting goes out, and then shut it off an hour before main lighting comes back on? Some people just leave it 24/7?

it really is just prefrence, we run ours 24/7 because when our lites are on you don't see them till the lites are off.....there is'nt a right or wrong way to run them HTH :mrgreen:

I have to agree that its a matter of preference. The moonlights are mostly for our benefit to be able to tank watch awhile longer anyway.

Mine run around the clock too. I'm sure you'd end up getting more life out of em if you ran a timer but LED's last forever anyway... assuming your moonlights are LED.
