"Match Water Temp During Water Changes"

I know that when you change the water you are supposed to match the temp and pH. My water is around 79 degrees and my room about 72ish. You can do the math to realize that that makes my fresh saltwater 7 degrees colder. pH I understand, its simple enough. What do you guys do?

all i match is temp. and salinity. never had a problem. if you let the fresh mix sit with a PH and a heater for 24hrs or so, you shouldnt have a problem. HTH

I take my 5g jub of new water and put it in my bathtub full of hot water.... as hot as i can get it. after about 5 mins or so, it is usually right around 79*-80*.

I too dont bother with pH... just salinity and temp.

Well i dont check PH but i always add the same amount of PH buffer on my freshwater before the water change let it mix with a pump for an hour and running it with a extra heater & thermometer that i have and then i do my water change ( i add PH buffer since the PH of my water is always low) but normally people just do the water change, as is from the LFS.

PH changes due to oxygen and hydroxides changing in the water. With the salt mixes we use the water should reach a certain PH with only a powerhead to airate and the mix. I would just stick an extra heater set to 79 degrees and a powerhead and let it sit for a while to mix and heat up.
