I was wondering where like minded individuals could discuss their favorite macrotanks like 20,000 gallons and larger? I would have to say my top 3 in no particular order would be Shedd Aquarium in Chicago, New Orleans aquarium and Corpus Christie's aquarium. Any thoughts???

Hello and welcome Zipperton! I would second the Shedd and New Orleans Aquarium although I would have to say I was a little disappointed in the Coral Reef Exhibit at the Shedd. Not really worth the money IMO. The tunnel in the New Orleans aquarium is the coolest thing I've yet to see.

I've also come to really enjoy Moody Gardens in Galveston, Tx. Its close to my house but it really is something to see. Great exhibits!

Next to Shedd and NO, the NY Aquarium is not worth the price of entry. It's tiny, old and way out in BFE Coney Island. I remember the Balitomore Aquarium being pretty neat, but it's been four years since I was last there.

I'll be going to Scripts Aquarium within the next month and I'll take pics/review it.

I should probably take a road trip upto the Monteray Bay Aquarium, maybe do some camping as well, that'd be a fun one.

I'd like to say there's good snorkeling out in the Pacific where I live, but I'd be lying through my tooth. It's so damn polluted :x but it's not tropical enough anyhow.
