lunar lights

i have a 12 gallon jbj nano reef tank.i want to get the lunar moon light.it says to get one module per two feet. would one be enough for my tank?also where is the best place to put it in my hood?

I personally wouldn't think that one would be enough. mount it a little towards the front so it lights up the front serface of your rock as well. Not too much, but your just going to have to play with it and the available space in your hood to see where the best location is.

Which unit are you looking at? Usually, one unit or module or whatever should be good for a nanocube. I have seen people use the 3/4 and 1 watt Coralife LED moonlights on the cubes and it seems to work nicely. You can also DIY some blue LEDs into the lid of a nanocube pretty easily.

Is there more then one light in a module? My nano has 8 LED's- 4 cut out and it's not even close to being enough now.... got to get the other 4 back up and running. Maybe they're a lower wattage then what comes in the after market modules.
