lime green "moss"

THere's a mounding lime green 'plant' that looks like a clump fine moss or lichen. When I got the live rock, there were three specks. Within 4 months, there are three dime to quarter-sized pieces, flowing over onto the next rock. Several specks have emerged onto the back glass of the tank. Love the color, glad it's happy... if it's something good. ID appreciated

nope. Is tight, bushy, bright lime green mounding, about 1/4" high at middle, looks like it has tiny mouths dotted around, so am wondering if it's a soft coral of some sort.

We have some stuff locally(in the ocean) that sounds similar. We call it sea lettuce, and its a macro algae. If it is that, it fine, but may grow invasively. It does also sound like a possible coral though. Pics would be helpful....

thanks

I'll see if I can take some pics when we get back from Singapore - anyone know a good aquariums shop here?
