I dont know how often he comes around, but here is his answer to that from another thread... "I use Canon 20D bodies and Sigma EX 50 and 180 mm macro lenses, with and without extension tubes."

Gary definitely knows what he is doing and has some very nice equipment. That Sigma lens runs around $400 and they are some of the best on the market.
