JUST A FEEDING QUESTION & CORAL QUESTION

i have a mandarin and im feeding him baby brine shrimp, cyclop ezze the thing is that during that time i turn off the filter so the food is not moving around and the mandarin can eat and i turn it off about an 40 min and then i turned on for 1 min.. and then off 20 more minutes and then leave it on till next feeding time i feed them 2 times a day they are eating alot but the thing is that is the turning off the filter a bad thing for long time does that affect on air or something or should i only doit for less time than that or turning it off doesnt affect anything......

AND also can anyone give me any info on all this coral and if they are ok i got them like that mix ... so i was wondering will they sting each other or not please tell me all you can and if they are a bad group can you give me some advice of what to do....

Nah, turning off your filter for less than a few hours shouldn't really affect anything in your tank. I used to leave my skimmer off for about and hour and a half after a good feeding.

Your corals pictured above should all be okay except for the GSP. The zoas are going to try to reproduce the most. I would, however, be aware of the green star polyps on the top part of the piece. It will grow VERY fast and it will actually start a chemical warfare with anything it gets in contact with. They will win. :evil:
