my tank has been up about two weeks everythings going great, just added clean up crew 6 blue legged hermits. i just got one question whats the best way to clean ther sand up? there a lilttle brown algee on the top layer in a couple places. ive have just been swishing it around but i was just wondering what should i do or get to take care of it. thnks for your time..

The brown algae you refer to is a diatom bloom and is a natural part of your tanks cycle. It will go away on its own in a little while but you can keep stirring it up to keep it from making your sandbed look bad. Siphoning it out as already mentioned is another option but its not a sign of anything bad since your tank is only a couple of weeks old.
