Hi,

I'm looking for a way to add a sump to my JBJ 12G Nanocube. So I have found this on the internet and I'm wondering if it can work on the Nanocube.

I would put the syphon tube in chamber 2 or 3 and the outside box would be attach to the cube by some kind of bracket. And in the sump I would put a pump to bring back the water(in the back compartment or in the cube(not sure))

Go have a look at this site for a picture(as it seems I cannot attach pic)... http://www.nano-reef.com/forums/showthread.php?s=b2847199716f1ea8ae3dd7ba730e5f5b&threadid=49080

Let me know if it's possible to do it. All your help is greatly appreciated as I'm really new to this hobby.

Thank you,

I think it's probably doable. Is there some reason you're adding a sump to your cube? I'd check out a few of the threads here and see the types of mods that folks have gone with. If you're determined to add a sump, I'd try to determine from JBJ, if the bottom and/or back panels on the cubes are tempered glass. If they're not tempered, you can simply have them drilled, and install bulkheads.
