JBJ Nano cube nightmare!!!

Ok, I ordered a Nano Cube 24G. I opened it up and unpacked it. First thing that i notices was the Splash guard for the light was all busted up. Than I noticed one of the lights was broke. I called the place where I purchased this from and he told me he would take care of it.
He called me back the next day to tell me that the guy that he normally works with at JBJ was not there and he spoke with a guy name Frank. Frank said that they are having a problem with stores calling and telling them that bulbs are broke and they are sending out new ones to them and the are ripping them off. Therefore he wanted me to call him. I called frank and he had me to take out the broke bulb and test the other one. I worked but one of the fans was not. He told me he would send me out a new canopy. Great Makes me happy. It took them a week and a half to get it to me. I get it home. Open it up. Splash guard was cracked all the way down. Took it off since the lights were not in the sockets. Two of the four holes that they screws go in were broke off. Top of the canopy looks scratched and to top it all off. I notice on the curved glass of my tank what I would call a dimple. Since I have not had a working canopy yet I grabbed a flashlight and sure enough there is a hairline crack. When I talk with this frank guy today I am going to ask for a full replacement. I don't want a freaking refund I just want a working tank.
You know what sucks the most. I bought the tank 3weeks ago. Still have no water in it yet and in another week if everything was good the thing would have been cycled. I will keep you all posted on how JBJ handles the situation. :wlift :wlift :wh

Sixty bucks, and thats after shipping. If it was only 20 bucks or so I would have bought it from LFS. We have another lfs here that I called 4 times and visited there 3 times trying to get a price and the person that I needed to speak with was either not there or would not call me back. They guy that I got it from ebay, is really working with me and JBJ to get it fixed though JBJ insiste working with me and he is kind of out of the loop.

Wow, that is so messed up. Sorry. I know your going through the DT's right now. Is it the same shipper both times? What is the name of those delivering your tank? Once is bad, twice; let's put everyone on notice. Throw a name out here. This is the power of the medium we use. Maybe someone could print or E-mail what is being said and you could get the service you deserve! :burningup

Actually exotic equatic is the company that I bought it from. They shipped it the first time. JBJ shipped the replacement. I dont think it is in the shipping. The first thime however when I opened the box. The Ballist is sitting in a box inside the tank free to bounce around. That is one thing that I informed JBJ regarding. To me this does not seem to sound to do. They are not feathers bouncing around in there. Just you let you all know it has been 24 hours since my last contact and have heard nothing back yet. Just want it fixed.

He called them and sent me a email promissing him that a BRAND NEW ONE is on the way. HOOOray. This has got to be the best person that I have ever dealt with on ebay. I'll keep you all posted.

I am lucky to not have any problems with either the 12 gallon or my 6 gallon JBJ. My JBJ 6 has a small very scratch in the front, but it's minimal, and I've gotten used to it. Aside from that, both the 12 and my 6 are in great working order.

I only wish my upgraded lights came with no dramas, when I ordered them. It was a PITA to deal with, but that can be business sometimes. Sorry to hear about the things you are going with, but I hope they turn out for the better in the end.
