JBJ LED MOONLIGHTS AND TIMERS

I have a new JBJ 12 Gallon NanoCube (UNCRACKED... :tong: ) with the LED Moonlights. They are vey nice, but I am having trouble getting it to work correctly with my timer because of the remote Ballast. The Timer just shuts everything off, but I need only the ballast to shut off in order to get the LED's to switch on. Any suggestions, or am I stuck just manually turning the light on and off when I want the moonlight effect? Thanks for your help!

You will have to rewire your moonlights since they only work when the main lights are off. And it wont work with a timer. If your good at DIY stuff then you'll be fine. I am but I decided to buy moonlights instead because by rewiring the moonlights, you will have to buy an adapter which is about the same price as moonlights. Besides, the moonlight LED's of the nanocube burn out easily. Hope this helps.
