Is this filter good for my new 2.5g tank?

Hey, guys!! Mi name is michael and i decided to visit my LFS and I saw a filter called Magi-200 Magic-Jet Filter and I had to buy it because it looks really good. And then It just came to my head that it was a 2.5g tank, not a 10g. I just think is to much. Here is the descriptiôn from the package:

Multiple filters with flow ranging from 200L/H to 1000L/H.

What do you think? Soon i will post the pictures. :)
