I have a 55 gallon cichlid set up and have a 10 gallon breeder tank that I am not using anymore. I want to practice on the 10 gallon before changing the 55 gallon into saltwater.
My question is.......can I turn my 10 gallon into a little nano and make it cute and worth it or is it alot more trouble? I know about the whole "the bigger the better"
second question......I have no idea where to start?

1st step, you have to do a ton of reading. Not just here, but journal articles all over the web. Searches might include, Deep Sand Beds, Live Rock, the Nitrogen cycle, cycling marine tanks and many more.

Unfortunately, there isn't a forum in the world that can give you all the info you need in one post.

Good Luck. :D

True. I say go for it. Bigger isn't better per say. Bigger is easier for sure. But this is a nano tank forum and you can look through some posts to see some wonderful examples of what a basic 10 gallon tank can become.
