Invertebrate Stocking

Greetings,

This is my first post here. I've had a 20 gallon takn setup for a little over six weeks with 30lbs of live rock and a few hermits and snails that came with the rock. The rock was fully cured and only 5 minutes out of a tank. Cycle finished in 4 weeks and I've seen my diatom bloom (Mostly in refugium - display tank has remained clear due to a lot of flow)

I've been doing a lot of reading about various fish and invertebrates and some stocking ideas for fish, but have not come across recomendations for invertebrate stocking guidelines.

Yesterday I introduced a peppermint shrimp in hopes that he will go after the small aiptasia growing on the side. I also want to keep a Blood Shrimp which is by far my favorite.

I'll be keeping a pair of tank bred clowns and some other small fish, possibly a Royal Gramma. The tank now has 8 hermits (variety) and 6 snails. I have shell garden for the hermits so that they don't kill the snails. So far it's working, I've seen the hermits change homes a few times.

How many shrimp can I keep in a 20 gallon tank with 3 small fish and a typical CUC?

Here's a picture of my tank a few weeks ago:

Tank specifics:

20 gallon glass tank
AC110 refugium modification with bal of Chaeto and Red Algae
Two AC50 powerheads (soon to be replace with Koralia 1)
Aragonite sand, fine grain
30lbs of LR, rubble in refugium
100W Tronic heater in fuge
Digital thermometer
All the testing equipment
Instant Ocean Salt Mix

No lighting yet (tank stock only)

Thanks,

Julien
