I am a part of another forum and I am just used to this...

Name: Stefan Pierre

Location: Milton, Massachusetts USA

Hobbies: Cars, Nano-reefing, and partying

About me: I got into nano reefing when I was in 7th grade with a 20 gallon tank which sprung a leak promptly ending my hobby and the insulation in my floor :cryinga: I just recently picked up a 12 gallon Nano Cube which failed due to lack of funds but I have to get it running again because I love fish and they just make me happy... :langle

Welcome to the forum and glad you found us. Looking forward to having you get your tank started and seeing some pics. In the meantime if you have any question, we have a great crew here and would be happy to assist in any way we can.

Diffuse your current stream. I use Koralia power heads that have a output that is not in a stream. If you have something like the maxi jets try pointing it higher and against a wall (or rock) in your aquarium to break the stream up.

...I like the look of the Koralia powerhead, I tried aiming it higher and it just bounces off the walls of the tank and directs downward and moves the sand...do you know what kind of tubing I should use to change the flow from one powerful stream to 2 less powerful ones?

I really love my tank but I can't get fish until I can insure their happiness and prosperity...I also have like 2 pounds of live rock in there.

Are you running the koralia nano or 1? I have mine half way down the left side aimed right about the center of the front glass and dont have a problem with it stirring up the sand.
